A Letter From Our Owner - 5 Year Milestone

What a journey! I truly can’t believe the building I’m currently standing in was completed five years ago. My office is five years old!? My desk is five years old. Five years of weddings. Five years of brides and grooms and vendor friends.

Five years ago, in February 2020, we opened our doors with a dream — to create an unforgettable space where love stories come to life. Little did we know the challenges that lay ahead with opening our doors one month before a global pandemic, but thanks to your unwavering support, we have not only endured but thrived in Kansas City’s luxury wedding and event market.

I was 20 years old when the concept for Warren Place Venue was born on the phone from my college apartment with my grandmother and co-owner. I’m now 28, happily married with a family of my own and I truly couldn’t be more proud of my “first baby” - our business.

Over the years we have been nominated for 15 various awards including Venue of the Year, Best Venue, Best Rehearsal Dinner, Best Venue Coordinator, Company of the Year, and more. Every nomination is more meaningful than the last and we are so grateful.

To our past couples, thank you for trusting us with your most cherished moments. Your laughter, tears, and celebrations have filled our venue with a magic that continues to inspire us. To our future clients, we can't wait to be part of your journey and help bring your vision to life.

This milestone is only possible because of you — our incredible clients, vendors, and especially our team. Truly, thank you. Here’s to the next five years of love, joy, and unforgettable celebrations!

Love,

Raelee DeJung

“This was the first venue we toured when we started looking for our wedding and we immediately fell in love with the space. Not only was the venue gorgeous and very accommodating, the Warren Place staff was also top tier. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue/team for our special day. We had so many positive comments from guests about how beautiful the venue was, how perfect our day ran with the help of the staff, and much more. We personally worked with Brittany Willard as our venue coordinator and she was amazing! Brittany was always on top of it in communicating with us, assisting us with vendors, and overall being down to earth and helping our dream become a reality. You won’t be disappointed with this venue!”

“We had our wedding here on 5/27. I am so glad we picked this venue. It fit our intimate wedding (65 people) beautifully. The staff here made everything so easy on the day of. They set up all the decorations we wanted beforehand so all we had to do was show up and get ready.

The getting ready space is absolutely gorgeous and super convenient. Just a short walk from the chapel. All of our getting ready photos looked spectacular here, and the room and building layout for the bridal and groomsmen parties makes things so effortless. Brittany was also a huge help in the few days before and the day of, even providing some day of coordinating. Everything went off without a hitch and inside the chapel was so picturesque the day of. I highly recommend this venue , especially if you are having a more intimate wedding. We are so happy we chose this venue; I felt like everything was taken care of and our families could just show up and leave without worrying about set up and take down. We love the Warren Place!!”

“We do not have enough words to explain how amazing Raelee, Beau, Brittany, and the entire WP staff are. As wedding planners, we work with a lot of venues , but none have been as detail oriented, transparent, and communicative as WP. From wedding planning and rehearsal dinner to the wedding day (and even operating a livestream of the ceremony) they have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND. They provided all decor for centerpieces and tables, ceremony arbor, and a STUNNING getting ready space. They even sent us their decor instructions to confirm their notes aligned with ours. Our jobs were 10000000x easier due to this amazing group. Thank you all!!!!!”

“Stop right there! If you are looking for a beautiful, intimate, and personal feel for a wedding venue space, look no further. Warren Place Venue made my wedding day dream come true! Not only is the space beautiful and spacious but the staff there is so kind and genuine. My hubby and I are from the Gardner area and we were wanting to keep our wedding local and we were so lucky to find this place and get it booked. All of our guest complimented the space and were so in awe of the chapel as well as the reception hall. The cottage is so gorgeous and such a great space to get ready in. Being one of the first weddings there at this newer venue was such an honor and everything went smoothly. Communication was amazing and they were on top of everything. Don’t forget to ask about rentals. If you want it, they probably have it and In a few different colors as well! Raelee and her staff were such a joy to work with. Highly recommend this Venus space to anyone! Many thanks to you and your team. Can’t wait to return for baby showers and anniversary parties!”

Megan + Justin // December 18, 2022

(Christmas at Warren Place) + (Couples like Justin and Megan) = MAGIC.

Megan and Justin’s intimate December wedding featured wooden banquet tables made by the groom himself, an amazing matron of honor/premier wedding planner combo, and “Going to the Chapel” sung by a groomsman for Megan’s walk down the aisle. These details made the day so personal, it was a joy to witness.

Of course we can’t forget the amazing vintage Jeep Wagoneer featured for their getaway car! Congratulations to the Bells, it was an honor to be a part of your day!

Mallory + Farooq // November 13, 2021

A perfect fall wedding at Warren Place Venue, Mallory and Farooq utilized all three of our spaces for their special day. Mallory and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready on-site in the Cottage with their pup, while the groomsmen put on their finishing touches next door in the Chapel.

Their Chapel ceremony was followed by their reception in the Warren. They were able to add additional linens provided by Warren Place’s rental division. We were thrilled to be a part of their nuptials!

Our renovation is still in the works but the rest of us are in quarantine for the time being! I personally don’t know what day it is half of the time so I’ve ditched the calendar this month in favor of a happy little reminder. We can’t wait to get through this weird little season of life and start filling our space with weddings and brides and people and conversation and honestly anything other than the four walls of our house. Stay safe, stay healthy, we’ll see you soon.
